Teacher Appreciation
It has been a wild, crazy, wonderful summer over here, and we are ALL just getting back in the swing of things. Chickadee started Pre-K yesterday and she was so excited to head back to meet her new teachers and friends. Sprout will begin 3K next week and Poppy will get some extended one on one time with mama. Bring on the snuggles. Since everyone is heading back to school I wanted to share a few Teacher Appreciation signs we used at our preschool last year as we shared the love with our amazing teachers.
Working alongside another awesome mama we came up with 5 theme days to share appreciation to our teachers. We decorated their workroom and left them a yummy treat each morning in hopes to brighten their day, just like they brighten our children’s. We gave them a little sneak peak by leaving this note in their boxes along with a little “S’more” kit.
We also asked the teachers to fill our these new favorite things lists so all of their information would be up to date!
So following our plan for the week, we started with muffins on Monday. Big muffins and mini muffins (thanks Costco) along with bananas and orange juice!
Tuesday brought a hot breakfast with both casseroles and cinnamon rolls, so of course our teachers were “On a roll!”
Wednesday, we encouraged our teachers to TREAT “Yo”self with small greek yogurts from Costco & granola.
Thursday were donuts, because frankly, every celebration should include donuts!
And, lastly we kicked off the weekend with some yummy popcorn and Coca-cola!
It was a great week to celebrate our teachers. I know first hand how hard they work and how hard they love their students. As everyone starts back to school my wish for you is lots of learning, early bedtimes, and new friends!
