Best Homemade Bubble Recipe

Yall, we were running out of bubbles faster than Walmart runs out of bread and milk when it gets below 32 degrees down here in Georgia. Something had to be done. So I grabbed an empty juice bottle, a friend’s bubble recipe, and my favorite 2 (almost 3) year old.

I had no idea. Bubble making is so easy….everyone should do it. Let’s put the bubble makers out of business friends.

So here are the instructions:

Mix 6 cups of water & 1/2 cup of light corn syrup until completely combined.

Then add 1 cup of liquid dish soap a little at a time and mix until blended.

Will last for a long time in an air tight container!

Seriously, that’s it! We love these big bubble wands. Are actually giving away wands & this bubble recipe as a favor at Chickadee’s birthday party next week. How can she be three???????

  • Corn syrup – that’s a really unusual ingredient but I’m willing to try it because just dish soap and water makes really wimpy bubbles. I’ve got 2 that can’t get enough bubble blowing (even in the midst of winter when I catch them in the bathroom with their wands). I’m going grocery shopping now so if I’m low on corn syrup I can get some more and make bubble soap and they can work off some energy tomorrow since it’s a holiday and I can get some housework done. Thank you.
