As all new moms can attest, those first few weeks, let’s be honest, months are EXHAUSTING. There are always diapers to change, cheeks to squish, tummy time to endure, and the marathon nursing sessions seem to never end. I know one day I will look back on these moments with fondness & wish they were little again, but right now, while I am in the trenches with a 22 month old and a 5 month old, it takes every ounce of my faith to get me to the weekend when Daddy is home all day to help!

One way I have found to make the day to day easier is to always buy in bulk. More of what you need & less of your precious time having to run back and forth to the store. Here are a few things all new moms should always have on hand!

1. Diapers and Wipes  There is nothing worse than getting your little one out of the tub & ready for bed, only to realize you are out of diapers. Believe me…I’ve been there. Babies of all ages go through so many diapers a day, but especially in the first few months. Make sure you always buy in bulk so you never run out! You can find Huggies at your local Sam’s Club®! Even though you are paying more in total, the price per diaper is so much cheaper than when buying regular sized boxes.

2. Baby Wash/Lotion Bathing two little ones every night, we use a lot of Aveeno® baby wash. It’s smells delightful & since we have a huge bottle I know my little ones will smell good for weeks to come! Plus, it’s perfect for sensitive skin.

3. Snacks These are both for you and the littles! If you are pregnant or nursing you have extra calories you need to be picking up so having a healthy snack on hand is essential. And if your toddler is like mine they are always wanting to eat, so I make sure and pick up healthy options to always have on hand.

4. Water Life is always better when you can quickly grab a bottle of water!

5. Paper Products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, paper plates) Toilet paper is a must when buying in bulk. Let’s just say that is one item you NEVER want to run out of! And who has time for dishes when you are taking care of and chasing around kids? Paper plates are always a nice option to have on crazy days.

Everything on my list can be found at Sam’s Club. It’s a one stop shop for all things “bulky!” And remember Sam’s Club isn’t just for baby items. You can find groceries and other household items on your list as well.

Also, may I let you in on four little secrets for shopping with two under two?

1. Strap one on If you really plan on doing some damage, and one of your little ones can’t sit up yet to ride in the cart…wearing the youngest in a carrier will free up a lot of space for all your bulk purchases!

2. Samples! Sam’s Club is great about letting their customers sample some of their many products. If you are taking the little ones with you to shop, I promise they are happier campers if they get to try a cheese cube…or two!

3. Park near the cart return This tip is imperative when shopping with two under two. You must park near the cart return. This way you can grab a cart & load everyone in before heading into the store. Then when you have checked out and loaded your goodies back into the car, the cart return it right there.

4. Club Pick Up Ummm, can I say incredible. Club pick up is a game changer if you are a mom to several little munchkins! You can create and save shopping lists online. Then when you are ready you can place your order for pickup. When your order is ready you will receive a text for easy pickup! Another option is to have your orders delivered to your house in just a few days. This leaves you with extra time to spend at home with your family.

AND new moms who join using this link (for only $45) can take advantage of a special $80 Savings on baby items like diapers, wipes, etc.!

Do you have any items you must buy in bulk or shopping tips to add to my list?
