Seven Months | Baby Girl
How are we already a month past half a year????? 210 days to be exact. Baby girl you have flourished this month. You are coming into your own and developing the best little personality. We are having so much fun watching you grow and change. God has big plans for you baby girl. You are a babbling machine (which we can attribute to your grandmother, Bebe) and love meeting strangers when we are out and about. You continue to get constant love for your eyes and eyelashes. If only we had a quarter for everyone who is enthralled by them we could send you to college :o)
Our schedule is pretty similar to last month. You are still a rockstar sleeper, sleeping from about 8pm to 7:30am, always waking up smiling. After your week or two of 30 minute naps you are finally back to taking two 1.5 hour naps in the morning and afternoon and one 30 minute catnap around 5:30. You are nursing 4 times a day now and made the transition pretty easily. As for eating solids you have apples, pears, avocados, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, green beans, plums, carrots, whole milk yogurt, sweet potato sticks, bananas, and baby pancakes on your menu. Avocado, banana, pancakes, and sweet potato sticks you feed yourself.
Oh, and the sippy cup has become your friend…although I am not sure you are actually getting anything out of it :o)
You have also reached a few milestones. Not only are you sitting up straight and tall you are also able to get yourself down on the floor to grab your favorite toys. While you aren’t interested in crawling you do manage to spin yourself around 360 degrees whether you are on your stomach or back. You are always so interested in whatever is going on around you. Whether you are giggling at Max or trying to see what mom is doing on her iPhone, you observing everything!
This month you added two more teeth. Another bottom tooth (May 10) and your top tooth finally popped through (May 17). You had a little more teething pain and a day of fussiness, but overall you weren’t too bothered by it. Speaking of your mouth, you are still putting EVERYTHING in it!
You made another long car trip this month down to Perdido Beach for Mother’s Day. I can’t really say you enjoyed the beach, but you LOVED the pool! I can’t say I am surprised since you could spend hours playing in the tub.
Baby girl you have changed so much in the last 7 months and we are so blessed God chose us to be your parents. We are praying for the day when you too fall in love with Jesus and can’t wait to see all he has in store for you!!!
