How to Cook Bacon in the Oven | Tip on Tuesday

This is the easiest tip known to man! I hate cooking bacon….it seems I always burn myself on the grease, and then usually gag over the process of getting rid of it! Basically, I just want you to GIVE ME THE BACON. I don’t want to fry it.
And now I don’t have to….here is all you need to know.
1. line a baking sheet with aluminum foil & lay out your bacon
2. cook on 400 degrees for about 20 minutes (you don’t even have to flip)
ENJOY the most crispy bacon injury free!
Happy Tuesday friends!

Dang it! Just last night I wanted to cook bake in the oven…but thought to myself “You don’t know how to do that.” On the bright side of seeing this post a day late, I just cooked my last batch of “stove top bacon” last night. And yeah!!! My shirts are saved
Just cooked up some bacon using this method…. Amazing! NO MESS & perfectly cooked! Did I mention no mess?? I can’t believe I have never heard this way before.
Thanks :)
If you really want to render a TON of fat from your bacon, put it in a cold oven and then turn the oven to 400…this is how I do mine and it turns out perfectly every time. Once the oven hits 400 degrees it usually takes about 5-7 more minutes to finish.
This is the VERY BEST way to cook bacon! No mess and no flipping and it’s so much easier to fit bacon strips on a rectangular baking tray than in a round fry pan AND it always turns out perfectly flat and crispy. I’ve been cooking bacon this for a while and I will never go back.
Mmmm….bacon.

Yum! We always just make bacon in a frying pan (and by we, I mean JM, cuz I’m not getting splattered with grease!) but this looks so much better!

I have always wanted to know how to do this-my hubby loves hot breakfasts on the weekend and I feel like cooking the bacon on my griddle covers the entire surrounding area with a fine coat of grease! I’m totally trying this on Saturday. (Have you tried it with turkey bacon?)

This is how we cook bacon, too! SO much better that spitting and spatting in a pan on the stove … pinned!
