Homemade Valentines with Washi Tape
I love sending and receiving snail mail. It is hard describe the happiness I feel when I open the door to find a card with a handwritten address, addressed to yours truly! We really have the coolest mail box if you ask me. It’s rather old fashion, but it is a slot through our front door. No mail box, or PO box., the mail is truly waiting for us in our entry way at the end of the day. Cool right?
Just like my Christmas thank you cards, this year’s Valentine notes too will be handmade with my favorite washi tape! I used the Cameo to cut out several heart shapes, but you could easily do this by hand. Then I layered on the washi tape in some lovey dovey colors.
It’s quite simple if you think about it. I changed up the patterns and order, so that each heart, just like those I love, is unique.
Just like I did with these Valentine treat bags, I used the Cameo sketch pens to do my writing for me. I think my favorite part is this awesome washi tape I found that says Made with Love….each card has a little strip on the back.
So do you hand make or buy your Valentines? I am looking forward to sharing the love on Thursday!
For now I’m sharing at these fabulous parties, and you should too!

Cute card! How did you fold that water tape so perfectly, especially around the top of the heart? Thank you
It’s been awhile since I made these, but if memory serves me correctly, I cut a heart out of cardstock…then used the outline left behind like a stencil. I placed the tape across the open stencil and then used an Exacto knife to cut the tape away from the stencil. Hope that makes sense!
Oh my cuteness!!! I have a new obsession with washi tape, and have stocked up quite a bit…totally trying these!
