Laundry Room Sign
And now, as seen in my Laundry Room reveal :o)
After gaining some PINspiration from Barn Owl Primitives.
I used my Silhouette to create that cute “LOADS of FUN” sign hanging above the washer.
If I could give a crafter one piece of advice, it would be “If you don’t already have a Silhouette/Cameo you should enter every give away you come across. It just might change your life!”
First I created the image in Silhouette Studio
I bought the clothesline image from the Silhouette store.
The Laundry Room font is Clipper Script Personal,
while the Loads of Fun font is Cafe Rojo.
I tried using the stencil vinyl for this project, but we didn’t really get along. After our short break up I went back to old faithful, simple vinyl. The Silhouette cut out the image. Then I peeled away the letters and clothes to create the stencil.
After the board was painted a light shade of aquaish/blue it was time to stencil!
I used transfer tape to apply the stencil to this surface.
Then I painted the clothesline white and the words a rich chocolate brown.
And there you have it :o)
The Laundry Room…LOADS of FUN
I’m sure moms everywhere agree!
Very cute. Working on my laundry room, too. How did you do the “mums?” (Is that what those flowers are?)
Thanks!
So cute…now I just wish I had a nice laundry room to hang a sign in and not my scary, dungeon basement room…LOL I just got a silhouette for xmas so thanks for some inspiration!
I really really like this, thank you! I hope to be re-vamping my laundry room soon!!!
You people with your Silhouette! NOT FAIR! I am green with envy. But, cute sign though. :)
How cute!! I've been looking for some laundry room artwork to create and this is perfect!!
I'd love for you to link this post up at my weekly linky party, Lisa's Linky List.
Thanks so much for sharing!!

That is so cute- very creative! I wouldn't mind doing laundry in your stylish laundry room!
Kudos for coming up with that pun! And even if you didn't, then still kudos for using it to make such a cute sign! Ah, to have a Silhouette Cameo… one day! And I dunno if you are planning on making a post about it, but what is the schedule (if that's what it is) on your washer in the frame? It's intriguing me!
That is really cute
you are just SO darn talented :) love it!!!
so cute!
