Holiday Bells
I have been so inspired this holiday season with the ideas I’ve see around the blog world.
This idea in particular I knew I wanted to emulate when decorating our house this year!
This idea in particular I knew I wanted to emulate when decorating our house this year!
These Jingle Bells are just what our mantle needed (as if it really needed anything else :o)).
(and a few other places around our Winter Wonderland).
They were also simple and inexpensive.
I started with 2 packages of bells from The Dollar Tree.
$2.00
Added a little cream Krylon.
After going back inside to do a little more decorating I flipped the bells and painted them again.
I did a very light coat, when I sprayed the bells, as I wanted the gold to show through.
For solid white, I would spray SEVERAL times.
I used twine to string them together…have I mentioned how much I LOVE twine???
Then I strung them where I pleased.
One set hangs from the curtains in the kitchen.
Another on the mantle.
The bells make me smile.
Sharing with several lovely ladies.
these are cute. My 2 year old would love these!
Beautiful Laura Beth! I might do this along with popcorn on a string :) What can I say… my daughter is 4 and has an INTENSE desire to make her first string of popcorn lol. And I'll make these, thanks for sharing!
Have a delicious day,
Sara
