Powder Bath…I’m in LOVE
Did you know?
I’m IN LOVE!!!
I knew I wanted the large horizontal stripes in the powder bath, but now I want them everywhere :o)
Before I reveal the fabulous after pictures, let me show you the TRUE before.
This is how the powder bath looked on move in day 1.5 years ago.
Isn’t that reddish/coral color TERRIBLE? For such a small room, it was a little much.
So without further ado, this is what greets guest today!!!
I’m drooling over the fact that these stripes are in my own house!
What do you think????
Your opinion means so much to me!!
Please tell me you love it too…
I look in every time I pass by. I want to eat meals in here,
or at least sit and read on the throne!
or at least sit and read on the throne!
Let’s look a little bit closer :o)
The mirror, was up-cycled from a thrift purchase.
I reused the collage wall of thrift store frames from before, but painted them white.
I gathered a few things from around the house, to spruce up the decor.
{a basket, ribbon, hand towels, and a little fabric}
Nothing like shopping in your own space!
I painted this BATH sign to add the perfect touch.
These fun twig beads were a steal at Hobby Lobby.
One more straight on mirror shot.
And these “hand painted” knobs…I fell in love with them at World Market at $3.99 a pop!
After a little more “in house” shopping, I pulled this rug from the upstairs guest bath.
LOVE the scalloped edges.
And there you have it…a fancy-fyed powder bath for only $14.96 :o)
Tune back in tomorrow to see more details of how everything came together!!

WOW, your bathroom update look amazing. Love IT! Smiles, Paula

Oops- found your post about the stripes. Thanks!!
Can't believe that before color! Love the new look! We striped our front room and love it but it took so much time. Do you have any time saving secrets?
What colors did you use to create this look? love it!
I am sooo doing this!!
I stopped by when I saw you on UCreate because I never thought I would see another bathroom the same awful color that ours is. We just moved to a new state and had to get a temporary rental through only looking online. The main bath is an coralish, pinkish, orangeish color and it literally glows. Your new bathroom looks great! If my bathroom were not just a temp. I would be painting and redoing too.
This is amazing! I have a small bathroom that needs some serious love and I think I'll go the stripes route after seeing this! http://bellesbazaar-heather.blogspot.com
