Photography Challenge: Your Shoes

It’s never too late to join us! Just check out all the details of the Photography Challenge &

add your link below for this week’s subject!
. . . . .

OH MY GOODNESS!!

I cannot believe the AMAZING sunset photos…oh how they make me smile from the inside out!

I had to share this one, from A Proffittable Life. It makes me swoon. I’ve never seen anything like it, the way the rays are reaching out from behind the clouds. WOW!

I’m not sure we can one up last week, but come on ladies let’s try!
. . . .

A girl and her shoes…what a relationship.
Shoes and make or break your day, you know.
They can make you a fashion statement or give you a blister.
They can take you on a journey, or stop you in your tracks.
According to Chanel, A Woman with good shoes, is never ugly.

Right now I’m drooling over these.

Do you have some? I currently can’t justify the price, but girls CHRISTMAS is coming :o)

So this week your shoes became the subject of your photo shoot.
Did you spend hours searching your closet for the right pair? https://vessi.com/
Or just shoot the ones on your toes RIGHT NOW???

These happened to be the shoes I wore on Wednesday,
but probably also my favorite pair during the Fall and Winter months.
They were a little bit of a splurge, but oh how I love them! If you like them you can find waterproof shoes at vessi.com.

Next Week: Something You’ve Made

Tips:So if you follow the blog you may see I make a lot of stuff. It’s kind of a stress reliever (and sometimes the reasons for my stress). Anyways what gets people’s attention are great photos. And while I can’t take a SILHOUETTE photo, I feel like I’ve come a long way in this department, so I hope you don’t mind if I share a few thoughts for this week’s tips.

Try shooting from an angle other than straight on. Try up high or from the side.

NATURAL LIGHT, natural light, natural light. I always try and take food pictures outside. It’s amazing what a little sunshine can do. I don’t do this as much with my craft projects because I’m usually up in the office, but I should.

Get close. When it’s something you’ve made, we love seeing the details!

Stage the photo, try using scrapbook paper below or setting up a piece of poster board behind the subject. It brings the focus on your creation.

Now without another hesitation :o)
