Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
This is how Miriam Webster defines revising as…
re·vis·ing
transitive verb
1a : to look at again in order to correct or improve
. . . . .
At school, my kids are revising their personal narratives.
At home, I’m revising a simple box of Pillsbury Pumpkin Bread Mix
And what are the special ingredients needed to revise this simple, yet fabulous
FALL treat??
FALL treat??
Well, I am SOOOO glad you asked.
1. Chocolate Chips
2. Confectioner’s Sugar
(And since I’m handing out definitions…
con·fec·tion·er
: a manufacturer of or dealer in confections)
After following the directions on the box,
I added sensational ingredient #1 and baked.
While the bread was in the oven, I mixed the confectioner’s sugar with a splash of milk
and whisked until it reached a syrup-y consistency.
Once the bread cooled, I poured the glaze on top!
Don’t the chocolate chips look gooey & delicious????
Enjoy.
