Making an Auburn Yarn Wreath, Wreatholicious
Have you seen all of the yarn wreaths around? They give off such a warm & cozy vibe.
And I must admit, that nothing screams FALL more to me than college football, so with this creation my goal was to combine my love of yarn & Auburn!
And I must admit, that nothing screams FALL more to me than college football, so with this creation my goal was to combine my love of yarn & Auburn!
It didn’t take me long to “fall” in love & start gaining inspiration.
After a quick stop at the craft store for
a styrofoam wreath, navy yarn, letters, and some orange ribbon
I got to work.
Do you know how long it takes to wrap a wreath in very thin yarn?
Let’s just say a two hour car ride is the perfect time to tackle this task!
With my ever trusty hot glue gun, I wrapped a few rosettes (tutorial).
Then I painted a few lovely letters.
And now, I can sleep in peace because everyone knows where this house stands :)

Linking up to several amazing parties!!

Another great way to interact it through Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram.
Where did you find your letters?
How did you attach the letters to the yarn wreath? I've completed mine but am afraid hot glue won't be strong enough since I bought some thick, heavy letters. Thanks!
It would be great to make a list of materials to make the wreath. Example 18″ styrofoam wreath, navy yarn, orange ribbon, wooden letters, paint, glue gun, glue sticks. War Eagle!
Can you tell me what size wreath you used? WAR EAGLE!!!
