Photography Challenge: Week #5

It’s never too late to join us! Just check out all the details of the Photography Challenge &
add your link below for this week’s subject!
. . . . .

Here are a few features from last week! They sure made me hungry :)

The Niggle shared a great pasta dish, and I LOVE the use of Instagram…it’s
my go to for those quick shots (learn more in my photography tip this week).

Drama Queen Seams photographed a nice vibrant “go to” meal, the sandwich. However her’s had a few special twists to make it not so ordinary!

And did you see these pizza puffs, from The Eternal Optimist? Not only do they look & sound delicious, but I love how the focus is on the puffs and the rest of the plate is in a soft blur.

Thanks to EVERYONE who linked up this week. I loved seeing the ideas, angles, & shots on dinner!!! Plus, your photography skills…I love seeing you start to step out of the box a little.

This week your direction was to Shoot from a high angle.

I must admit, I had a hard time with this one. In the end I just decided I would shoot straight down, as if standing over the subject. I rarely take a shot form this angle, so it was new and different for me.

Here are some bookmarks I am going to make with my class…gotta have a few samples!

And a bowl of cherries…I’ve been killing these little bites of goodness lately.

And finally, my Dutch Boy paint deck that arrived in the mail today!

All of the pictures above were taken with my iPhone using the app Instagram.

Photograph TIP: If you have an iPhone…download Instagram, it is GREAT for on the go shots & has the fantastic ability to layer the image with different edits. You can make your photo more vibrant or age is 20 years, all with the touch of a button! You can also instantly share the images on Facebook & Twitter. I LOVE it!

Now that you have search HIGH, you need to search LOW.

Next week’s topic: From a LOW angle…maybe this one will be easier!

Good Luck!
