Picasa Editing

I’ve been reading lots of blogs about photography, and trying to improve my skills. I feel I still have a long way to go when it concerns taking the picture with the correct aperture, ISO, and shutter speed, etc. For those of you looking for some tips, Pioneer Woman is a must see! I’ve also found some great instruction here & here on Centsational Girl’s blog.

So, since I don’t have it all down in the “snapping pics” department, I decided to work on my editing skills in the meantime. I use Picnik often (mainly for printables), but as of late Picasa really has my attention!

The fill light & glow features, I think, are my favorite. Using these two edits alone can make a dark & gloomy picture look like it was taken on a bright spring day! After playing around with if for a little while, even an amateur, like me, spruced up a few pics.

Here are a few before & afters…

And did you notice my new blog header…Picasa as well!

And BEST of all…it’s FREE!!
