We often use chicken in recipes around here! Chickadee loves it and since I recently discovered The Fresh Market sells antibiotic free chicken for $2.99 on Tuesdays so both our pockets and bodies feel great about dinner these days. We make everything from chicken salad and chicken spaghetti to chicken parmesan or chicken enchilada casserole.
And one thing (besides chicken) that all these recipes have in common is that the chicken needed to be shredded. I used to spend
hours minutes shredding the chicken with two forks. But NO MORE! Now I can shred that same chicken in seconds using my KitchenAid Mixer and a dough hook attachment.
First boil you chicken & place in the mixing bowl.
Then attach the dough hook and let it spin. Y’all….it’s amazing!
Shredded chicken in a minute flat.
