Banana Bread

What do you do when your bananas go “bad?”
Well, besides go bananas, of course!
You make Banana Bread!
I followed Pam’s recipe at For the Love of Cooking, because it called for brown sugar.
And I love all things brown sugar.
{I did cut the recipe in half seeing as I only had two bananas}
I did some mashing…so fun :o)
and then some mixing. I love any reason to pull out Mr. KitchenAid
I used this pan I have. I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s like a cupcake pan, but square.
Brownie pan maybe? It looks like this.
Butter is the perfect condiment for occasions such as these.
Thanks Pam! Enjoy.
Oh, and now that Picnik is “officially” gone, I edited these photos using PicMonkey. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. I used the DUSK effect on each of the photos and just faded it a little.
Serving up at these lovely parties!

  1. I've got bananas waiting to be made into banana bread too! You can “mash” your banana in your mixer before adding the other ingredients.

  2. Stopping by from Craft-o-maniac! Our home is a huge banana fan and these look delicious!

  3. Yum! Would love you to share this at Breakfast Ideas Mondays –

  4. Your photos make that look so yummy, I will have to try that recipe!

  5. Thanks for sharing such mouth watering photos, Laura Beth! I'll be pinning that recipe, for sure!

I always find that the top gets sticky when I cook full-sized loaf of banana bread. I think I'll try to find a pan like the one you used to hopefully cut down on baking time and stickiness!

Banana bread + butter = comfort food :)

    Have a great day!
